Quanjiao, known as "Bright Pearl of
East Anhui", lives on the moderate hills at lower reaches
of Yangtze River, which located on the border of Anhui and Jiangsu
Province and within the Yangtze Delta economic zone led by ShangHai.
With supreme nature environment, Quanjiao belongs to the subtropical
monsoon climate with distinct four seasons. It's mean annual
temperature of 15.4 and the mean annual rainfall between 800
to 1,000 mm, and annual non-frost period is over 210 days.
As formed in Han Dynasty, Quanjiao enjoys a long and glorious
history, rich and solid culture, and myth scenery. With a population
of 460,000 and total area of 1,568 Sq.km, Quanjiao has been
flourishing base of mechanical, construction material, chemical,
pharmacutical, and logistic center. Bearing in the mind of "respecting,
reassuring, intimating, and treasuring the investors",
the Quanjiao Government has spend no-spare efforts and financial
power in boosting and improving both hard and soft investment
environment.
To achieve the ambition and with approval
from central government, Quanjiao has formed Quanjiao General
Economic Development Zone at end of Y2002. The total planned
area of Quanjiao General Economic Development Zone is 11.18
Sq.km. Phase One Planned area of 3.88 Sq.km has been completed
and detailed plan for Phase Two with and area of 3.1 Sq.km is
under design.
Quanjiao County has the plan of being
a newly developing industrial, cultural and tourism city with
an area of 24 Sq.km and a population of 220,000, which will
eventually lead the city to be an important base of manufacturing,
agriculture, and tourism.
